The Piper's Wake, my latest standalone fantasy novel, released a couple weeks ago. Thanks again to everyone for supporting it! I got some wonderful words of feedback, which means more to me than any of you could possibly guess.
As with my other fantasy standalones, I did write a short story for The Piper's Wake. I wanted to delve deeper into Penance's background and his early training in sorcery before he left his hometown. The resulting story is called "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," and it's free to read at the link below.

Author News (And Book Sale!)
I might spend a little more time in between emails over the next couple months as I wrap up the third book in the Madcaps series and prep it for publication. I'm still readjusting after the physical and emotional demands that The Piper's Wake brought on, and switching to a light comedy feels like traveling to a different destination and dealing with all the subsequent jetlag.
In the meantime, I decided to pick a different book to put on sale for the time being. The chosen book?
