What next?
Over the past year or so I've been focusing on cutting down on projects, closing out older projects so that I can have more sanity focusing on what I'm excited about and more flexibility for any standalone projects I want to spotlight.
Currently, I'm up to my ears in editing the final book in the Medusa vs. Life trilogy, Shield of Glass. A lot of this trilogy was planned out from the first book, but somehow after I draft I still find myself bogged down with structural changes.
Current questions include:
- How romantic am I willing to get with a series that is not a romance series?
- Medusa is very concerned... about all the wrong things. Should I restructure her or rework the rest of the book to match her internal dramas?
- Should I release the Perseus chapter I had to cut as its own short story? (Probably yes)
I'll keep you posted on my progress as I get everything smoothed out.
