I was recently chatting with a few other writers on the topic of writing multiple genres, and someone mentioned that you can't write multiple genres unless you have a different pen name for each.
That hasn't been the case for a lot of writers I admire, so I'm keeping my sci-fi romance and fantasy books under the same umbrella for the foreseeable future.
That being said, those of you who have followed me for a long time know that I've moved around a lot. I started with vampire and werewolf romance and then moved into alien romance and have since shifted into a fantasy-centric focus with romance more on the sidelines.
On the surface, it doesn't look like there's a lot of continuity behind it, but each of my books is a reflection of my person and an attempt at self-exploration and expressionism.
Anyway, that's enough of a blurb for an already long email. Happy reading, and I'll let you know when Groupie releases.
