We have decked the halls with poinsettias and white lights, and I'm excited to share the first of my Christmas presents with you: a free short story.

"The Wager of Perseus" is in the Medusa vs. Life universe and was originally a cut scene from Shield of Glass, the upcoming third book and finale of the trilogy.

While this scene didn't make it to the final cut of the book, it gives some entertaining closure to Perseus's character and a showdown between Perseus and Poseidon. I fixed it up to stand better on its own, and am excited to share it with you at the link below.

In my last newsletter, I mentioned that I've decided to delay the release of Shield of Glass into January. I think the delay will be worth it, and I like what I'm seeing in the final tweak stage of writing.
