Eleanor Vance built her life on verifiable facts and logical explanations. As a meticulous antiquarian, she trusts in science, not magic—until a peculiar Victorian pocket watch with a blackened rose symbol throws her perfectly ordered world into chaos. The watch radiates an impossible cold, hums with an unearthly rhythm, and seems to choose her.

But this isn't just an antique. It's a beacon, drawing the attention of creatures Eleanor never believed existed. First, a flamboyant demon tears through her gallery, demanding the watch and leaving destruction in its wake. Then, Lucien arrives. Ancient, impossibly elegant, with silver eyes that burn with centuries of secrets, he's a vampire lord who saves her life... only to steal her memories...

Author News

While I was writing this email, I had to be very real with myself: this is a busy time of year. I'm busier than usual this year with personal and professional commitments, and I can't spend as much time at my keyboard as I'd like.

While Shield of Glass has been planned out in good detail from when I started working on Medusa's trilogy, it's been a beast to edit, and I decided to push back the release date by a few weeks to give myself more space.

I assure you, it will be worth it. And if you haven't picked up the other two books in the trilogy (Crown of Serpents and Maze of Thorns), this is a good time to get caught up before the showdown!

Ciao!

Sierra
