Hi
I have been fairly quiet in the last few weeks.
I have been home educating for 10 years. And when everyone was going back to school a few months ago, we were able to finally restart our home education journey full of days out and meet up with friends. But the sudden change of rhythm and the uncertainty of plans with restrictions ever changing has left me exhausted.
This has been a recurring theme in conversations with many people recently. Changes is restrictions, vaccinations, the uncertainty with work, health ..... it has left many people more tired than usual.
I have been working with a coach for the past few months and one of the things I have learned is that when I start to feel that tired I need to REPLENISH otherwise my mental health start suffering.
Replenishing by slowing down, taking naps, relaxations but also purposely prioritising my wellbeing so I can care better for myself and my family later.
Finding the rainbows amid the storm.
One of the things that helps me is lying on my acupressure mat, another is attending yoga or embodied dancing classes. Moving always helps me to release emotions and replenish.
What do YOU do to replenish?
TAKE TIME FOR YOU!
Throughout the summer, Monday yoga classes will stop but I will still carry on the online classes on Tuesdays.
Also next week I am running again the workshop Moving for Birth Together. Come and learn techniques for birth and pregnancy with your partner or the person who will support you during your birth.
Wishing you rest and replenishment over the summer,
Peggy
