First Words:

First, I’m happy to announce that Tears Of A Dying God is out now! It’s the first book in Volume 2 of the Princess Cayce story:

Cayce has finally beaten the mages, but they successfully stole her divinity, and she is just a little girl again. Far from her kingdom, deep in enemy territory, the mages’ army actively hunting her, and plenty of monsters wandering around that dine on little girls.

And that’s the easy part.

With the mages dead and gone, and the dimensional prison weakening, the Others want out. What will these beings who frighten even the gods do to this world once they escape, Cayce can’t imagine.

Her only chance to defeat them is to unify the warring nations. But the new Laemacian emperor Serce wants to unify their lands through marriage. The Temple Nuns, having brought a foreign army, want to capture Cayce to retain their youth forever. And to the east, Ketzle is regrouping their armies, readying another attempt to conquer her kingdom.

How is Cayce, a fifteen-year-old girl with no magic and no divinity, and far from her own military power, going to convince the ruling nobles to work together against this growing threat?

Second, I’m back in Canada for the holidays, enjoying my time with family, but also sneaking writing and editing in. Compared to Tokyo, it’s quieter, colder, and cheery, with lots of houses already displaying their Xmas lights.

In other writing news, Briony Rose Smith has more than 2/3rds of Book 2 narrated, and that’s going along smoothly. We’re both very much looking forward to Book 2’s audible launch!

Last, I’m working on new chapters for both ongoing Patreon stories: The Nanoapocalypse and Princess Cayce Vol. 2, Book 2.
