NEW Scheme of Work lessons + World of Work poster!

Hi ,

I hope you are enjoying your last few days of summer freedom or, if you are already back in the classroom, that you are coping with the usual post-holiday carnage!

We've been busy over the holidays creating plenty of new lessons to add to our ever-expanding careers Scheme of Work. Read on to find out more...

Explore, Experience, Thrive

Our new Explore, Experience, Thrive Scheme of Work offers a structured career learning journey for KS2, KS3 and KS4 using Panjango's unique style of fun, interactive and contextualised learning.

The Scheme will make use of our existing games and resources but it will mostly offer brand new content to connect learning to life and excite young people about the world of work. We initially planned for the Scheme to be around 15-20 lessons in total but we just kept having more ideas for great new content so it keeps expanding!

We've now completed and uploaded 17 of the 34 lessons on our initial Scheme plan. We'll be filling in the gaps over the coming weeks, as well as continuing to hone and improve the existing lessons and resources and come up with new ideas for lessons to expand the scheme.

We've created a Journey Overview document to show you the full range of lessons on offer, including the ones that are yet to be uploaded, to enable you to plan for the year ahead.

New additions include lessons on Connecting Learning to Life; Understanding Key Skills, Solving World Problems; The Jobs of the Future; Mental Health & Well-Being and much more!

Simply click here to view the full Journey Overview (which is also found within the Resource Bank itself).

We'd love to hear your feedback on what we're creating here at Panjango, so if you'd like to let us know what you think just hit 'reply' and let's chat. Or if you have any specific requests for lessons or resources you'd like to see created, we're all ears :)

Olympics Resources

With the excitement of the summer Olympics still fresh in young people's minds, and the Paralympics still in full flow, it's the perfect time to combine the Olympics with some career learning!

So here's a reminder that the Resource Bank contains an interactive powerpoint and an accompanying work booklet for each of KS2, KS3 and KS4.

These contain a wide variety of contextualised challenges to allow students to explore all the work that goes into making the Olympics a success.

We're really excited about these resources so please do take a look :)

NEW World of Work Poster

imageIs your careers space looking a little tired? Want to brighten up a classroom?

We've designed a vibrant new A2 World of Work poster to introduce students to 50 different careers across 14 sectors of the economy.

The poster will offer young people an exciting snapshot of the world of work.

The poster is just £9.99 each and can be ordered here.

Coming soon...

As well as continuing to add new Scheme lessons to the Resource Bank, we'll be continuing to add to our core set of interactive resources with new Careers, Sectors, Skills, Topics, Events, Journeys, Issues and other Activities resources coming your way soon.

As always, to access the files in the Resource Bank click on the link you received when you subscribed through Gumroad (if you search 'Gumroad' in your emails you should find it easily).

Let me know if you encounter any difficulties accessing the new files though and I'll be happy to help.

I hope you and your students enjoy using our new lessons and you are able to build our new Scheme into your plans for the year.

I'll be in touch again soon with further updates,
