Hi ,

Our latest batch of resources is here - and we have some exciting new additions!

This month we've added the following to the Panjango Resource Bank...

Future Jobs!

Here at Panjango, we're all about preparing young people for the world that they will grow up into - not the one that exists today, or the one that existed in the past.

So, building on the popularity of our Future Jobs trumps game, we've created some interactive resources exploring four exciting jobs of the future!

These are jobs that are only just becoming a reality - or ones that don't even exist yet but soon will!

The four Future Jobs resources include:

These Future Jobs resources can be found in the Dropbox folder here.

Scheme Lessons

We've added another two lessons to our Explore, Experience, Thrive scheme of work (which comprises more than 30 lessons in total). The new lessons are:

Lesson 9c - Exploring the Future World of Work

Students complete contextual challenges relating to a selection of jobs of the future - and debate the ethics of some future careers. The lesson helps to connect careers and the curriculum and open students' minds to the exciting ways in which the world is changing.

Lesson 13b - My Dream Job

Students prepare a fact file on their dream job and then deliver a presentation to convince the class why theirs is the best job of all! This lesson helps students understand the aspects that make jobs enjoyable and worthwhile at the same time as developing important presentation skills.

These lessons, and the other 30+ in the scheme, can be found here.

Key Stage 2 resources

By popular request, we've started adding Subject resources focusing on the Key Stage 2 curriculum. Our first batch focuses on the lower KS2 Science curriculum with topics including:

We'll be adding Maths and English topics over the summer - and providing two difficulty tiers broadly called 'upper' and 'lower' KS2.

Why are we adding KS2 resources when most of our subscribers are secondary schools I hear you ask?

Well, we've received numerous requests from teachers wanting easier resources to use with lower ability pupils. We also have a number of SEN schools subscribing to our resource bank, so we hope that these resources will be more suitable for those students too (although we do still plan to create specific SEN resources too).

Also, many secondary schools do outreach work with feeder primaries to raise aspirations and support transition. We feel these resources would be a good way of helping to achieve those outcomes - or great to use with the new crop of Y7s in September.

The Key Stage 2 resources can be found here (or click here for the Key Stage 3 subject resources covering every Maths, English and Science topic).

Accessing the Resource Bank

You can access the full Panjango Resource Bank in our Dropbox folder here.

Alternatively, you can continue to access the Resource Bank through your Gumroad account if you prefer.

We're already working on some creative new interactive resources and games for next month so watch this space for some exciting updates!

Thanks as always for joining us on our mission to transform the way that young people learn.
