Hi ,
Spring is in the air - and 16 new resources are in the bank!
This month we've focused on delivering up a varied batch of resources for the Panjango Resource Bank including...
Scheme Lessons
We've added a couple more lessons to our Explore, Experience, Thrive scheme of work...
Money Matters (Lesson 11b)
A lesson exploring money, wages and all things tax-related so students better understand how they will manage money as an adult.
My Options (Lesson 14b)
Students explore the choices they will need to make along the educational journey - and learn about making good decisions.
Each resource includes a main powerpoint, accompanying worksheets and a lesson plan to support you or other staff in delivering the lesson.
You can find our full range of Explore, Experience, Thrive scheme of work lessons here.
Skills
We've added resources exploring Confidence and Values through our usual mix of contextualised challenges related to a wide range of careers.
We've also added Quick Blast worksheets for each of the six skills already covered for a quicker activity which is perfect for tutor time - or if you would like students to explore a range of different skills in a single lesson.
You can see all of the Skills resources in our Resource Bank here.
We're aiming to complete our full set of 10 skills over the next few weeks so watch this space for new resources covering Character, Negotiation, Teamworking and Work Ethic.
We also added a Presenting Tips slide / print out to support students in presenting to class, as well as actively contributing to group presentations and actively listening to others who are presenting.
Careers
We've been getting some great feedback on our core Careers resources which each explore a single career through contextualised challenges so this month, we've uploaded five more:
- Administrator
- Air Cabin Crew
- Economist
- Electrician
- Sports Coach
There are now more than 45 individual Careers resources within the Resource Bank here so there is plenty of variety for students to explore.
We'll keep building up this core bank of Careers resources so that there are sure to be several that relate to students' interests and aspirations.
Accessing the resources
You can access the full Panjango Resource Bank in our Dropbox folder here.
Alternatively, you can continue to access the Resource Bank through your Gumroad account if you prefer.
We've got plenty lined up to keep the Resource Bank expanding in new and exciting ways so watch this space for more!
