The Art of Doing Less (on Purpose)

Hi ,

I hope your summer has gone well—whether it’s been packed with adventure or just filled with simple, quiet moments. There’s something about these last days of summer that slows everything down—in the best way.

For me, August is about kayaking at golden hour, concerts on the green with friends, lazy beach days with a good book (or no book at all), and giving my legs a break from the long miles I’ve been logging on the road.

As a long-distance runner, I’ve learned the importance of recovery. Not just resting, but intentionally resetting—so I’m ready for what comes next. That applies far beyond running. Sometimes the best thing we can do is pause, take a breath, and reset before the next season kicks in.

Whether you’re spending August in flip-flops or making back-to-school checklists, I hope you find your own version of a reset. And if insurance is one of the things you want to tidy up before fall—I'm here for that too. No pressure, just a check-in when you’re ready.

Enjoy these late summer days—they don’t last forever.

Warmly,

George
