Hello friends! Today's newsletter will be brief. My client load is full right now and I have been filling in gaps by looking for software to streamline some processes.

Invoice and Contract Management

For the past nine months, I have been using HoneyBook. I was extremely excited about this tool, but as the months passed, I found it fairly challenging to maintain. The invoicing is awkward and clients have been challenged with the payment process. I have to wait forever for a payment to be released. Contract management is pretty on screen, but when you print out the contract or save it as a PDF, yuck! Yes, I like things to look pretty when they are done.

This week after some research, I am looking at Zoho Invoice. So far, I have been impressed by the ease of use and the cost of FREE for my need is a breath of fresh air.I can integrate it with Stripe if I want to accept payment online.

I have also been researching some contract management software. One is Zoho Contract, but it is more complicated than I need. I also could not find a way to integrate with Zoho Invoice. I hate duplicating work. I do love though that you can set it up as a recurring contract for the client who is month-to-month.

I want to streamline the process, have signing capabilities, and have a PDF distributed at the end. Yes, I can do a Word document, save it to PDF, set up Adobe Signature, and manually send it to clients. I would love to have the capability of plug-and-play paragraphs.

Do you have any recommendations for contract management?

As the week winds down (hopefully), I have a Word project to complete, a client is having a project audit that I get to manage, and another client is gearing up for an International Conference.
