Reflecting on Setbacks and Celebrating Wins

Yes, I know. It's been three weeks since my last newsletter, and I wanted to take a moment to share with you what has been going on in my world. A recent trip to Chicago completely disrupted my schedule, and I've been struggling to regain my focus since then.
Last week, I decided to clean up my email list and reconnect with some of my longtime subscribers. In the process, I made a blunder when I attempted to send out my new subscriber sequence – it ended up being sent to everyone on that particular list. I was also told that my website signup form wasn't working. WHAT????!
I know how frustrating these kinds of mistakes can be, and I often find myself beating myself up over them, feeling embarrassed. However, this time, I decided to take a different approach. I gave myself some grace, acknowledged the breakdown, and moved forward.
This newsletter was conceived in the early morning, at 3 a.m., as I pondered my recent experiences. Why am I sharing my failures with you? Because I believe it's important for you to know that even the chaos whisperer encounters challenges. I struggle with technology at times, just like many of you do. I also experience difficulties in maintaining productivity and motivation.
So, how do I overcome these hurdles? It begins with acknowledging them. I allow myself time to reflect on what went wrong and conduct a mental debrief. After that, I dust myself off and refocus on the task. It's a process, and I'm learning to be more forgiving of myself when things don't go as planned.
But it's not all setbacks and stumbles. I also have some exciting news to share. Despite the challenges, I had the pleasure of welcoming two new subscribers to my email list this week, and that's a win worth celebrating!
I want to thank all of you for participating in this community. Your support and encouragement mean the world to me, and I'm committed to providing you with valuable content and insights.
Thank you for understanding and sharing in my journey. Remember, it's okay to stumble; what truly matters is how we pick ourselves up and keep moving forward.
I am wishing you a fantastic weekend ahead!
Regards,
Lisa Olinda, Chief Chaos Whisperer
P.S. We have a 15' 1982 Scotty Trailer awaiting a great adventure. Tomorrow afternoon will see us hitching it up and making an inaugural journey up the mountain for the weekend. We are excited and nervous. Have you ever backed a single-axle trailer up? Tell me about your adventure.
