, I need to be honest with you... life has been a whirlwind (to put it nicely) these past few months. I've been thrown with every curve ball you can imagine, pero estamos aqui.

I'm here and ready to roll with new energy.

In case you need a refresher, I'm Mayra the Founder of Nutrition Dork & Healthy Rican. Here's a pic: 🙂

I've been sitting with this email for longer than I'd like to admit, trying to figure out the right words. So I'm just going to be real with you, because that's always been the whole point of this thing we built together.

This past seasons have been a LOT. Behind the scenes, I've been deep in the weeds. Rethinking, rebuilding, and honestly, just surviving some of the harder parts of running a small business solo (on top of making a big move across the country, a debilitating autoimmune illness, perimenopause, and mental health struggles). And you know how it goes... when life gets heavy, the inbox is usually the first thing to go.

But here's what I kept coming back to... YOU.

This community. The reason I started all of this.

Whether you found me through Nutrition Dork or Healthy Rican, you showed up because you believed that eating well didn't have to mean giving up the flavors that feel like home. That still lights me up. Every single day.

I'm not coming back with a big launch or a sales pitch. I'm just coming back... "Como Yo!" as myself, to say that I missed you, I'm still here, and I'm more committed than ever to showing up the way you deserve.

So thank you! For being patient. For sticking around. For every order, every DM, every comment that reminded me why this matters.

This is just the beginning of me showing up more consistently again. And I can't wait to cook, share, and grow right alongside you.
