the game i made for global game jam in february is going to be actually made into a real physical game on kickstarter, starting NOW!!!

🌻 RooTile kickstarter! 🌻

it's a 2-4 player game (with a 1-player solo mode available) where you want to be the first to lead your flower's roots to water!

the basis for the game was made by mitsuo yamamoto of logy games, a veteran board game maker with over thirty kickstarters launched for his abstract games, with input from our two other team members, misawa & shimotsuki.

i designed the tile art, the logo, & the print-and-play files!

since this is a team thing that we just really wanted to share with everyone, we only plan to have it available through kickstarter... so if you want this game that i made the art for, this is your (possibly only) chance!

there are three versions: ceramic (on tile!!!), acrylic (laser-cut designs), & print-and-play (pdf).

(it'll also be sold at game market on may 14th (tomorrow) but you have to go in person! & the pnp version will not be available at game market, only the ceramic & acrylic versions.)

this is a bit different from my usual video game news, but it's my first time participating in a kickstarter & i'm excited & i hope you are too!
