Why We'll Never Be Enough (If all we do is run)

Howdy friend,
If you've ever felt like you're not good enough or doing enough, keep reading...
As a child, I felt like I needed to earn love. Sometimes I still feel this way.
Because of that, I developed a tendency to overwork myself. I view creating and producing things as a way to "obtain worth".
My intention for this year is to be more and do less. Sound easy, but it's incredibly hard for someone like me.
It's hard because it's something I learned as a child that was then reinforced throughout my life. It started with good grades, not being a crybaby, being popular, being liked, having good manners, etc.
What I've realized is that there is never a finish line. If you're on a treadmill, the only way to stop is to turn off or get off.
When we don't, we end up fighting with loved ones, burning out and getting sick, or leaving childhood dreams unrealized.
What's important to remember is that we are all worthy, no matter who or where we are. No matter what our life story. Worth isn't measurable, it just is.
If you'd like to read more about this, I wrote this short 5-min article about what this has looked like in my life and what I've done recently to manage it.
Just remember, you are exactly where you need to be.
Regards,
Nick
