Help Give Incarcerated Men & Women a Second Chance

Howdy,
Today is the official release day of Quan Huynh's memoir, Sparrow in the Razorwire: Finding Freedom from Within While Serving a Life Sentence.
In 1999, Quan Huynh shot and killed another man in a gang-related incident in Hollywood, California. He received a prison sentence of fifteen years to life in a state that, at the time, did not parole prisoners with life sentences. Behind bars, Quan continued his downward spiral.
This could have been the end of the story for Quan, as it is for many prisoners. But somewhere along the way, he discovered a new path—one that prompted him to commit to self-reflection, truth, and personal responsibility.
I'm in no way affiliated with Quan or his memoir. I just really admire what he is doing.
For every book sold, he's matching and donating one more to an incarcerated Entrepreneur-in-Training (EIT) in the Defy Ventures program.
I often resist donations to good causes because those usually get lost in fees and never actually see the victims I am trying to support.
But this is about as straightforward as it gets.
You get a book. An inmate gets one too. And with it, a second chance at life, the way Quan did.
Help me help Quan with his mission.
Nick
