And here is just a little bit about my motivation for the Road to Carnage series:

As a huge fan of the Sons of Anarchy series (I've seen all 7 seasons at least 4 times) after watching it the 1st time, I knew I'd eventually write my own.

But I was ambitious because I also love Oz and all things Mafia.

I knew I wanted to read a dark, gritty, erotic, thriller with tons of action that was about a motorcycle club, one about the Mafia, and one about prison romance.

Should I write 3 different series? That was my first goal. Then, while watching Sons of Anarchy for the 3rd time... It dawned on me.

Not only could I combine all three, but I also needed to write it like a TV show, where the scenes can switch between MCs. Where different couples are highlighted no matter where they are. Where I can travel around from location to location as the story evolves.

I do believe this series is one of a kind because of that direction I took. It's a passion project for sure and I love their world.

But, then came the challenge of introducing this type of story to readers. Because it's not like other dark romance/ MC/Mafia books where each book focuses on one couple.

I didn't want to write Outlawed where only Ace and Kenshin were the MCs, because I knew I was going to make multiple MC POVs.

So, I eased readers in with 2 MC POVs. Ace and Dragon. And you follow them as they meet their mates. Then as the series progressed, I added one more POV, then another. That way, readers don't get overwhelmed as opposed to if I had started the series with four or five MC POVs.

I took the same approach I did with my New Haven Series.

I also did tons of research before starting and it made me even more excited to start the series.

So, now, book 7 is coming out VERY soon and what I have in store for you is going to leave you reeling.
