I'm also writing a new chapter for Kingdoms, the New Haven series spin-off. Here's a little taste of what's to come... or shall I say cum?
A teaser:
My phone buzzed in my pocket, I pulled it out and checked the screen. I smiled and answered. “How is your day going?” I asked.
“Well, it's about to get more interesting,” Ty replied.
“Oh? And why's that?”
“It's time.”
“Time for what?” I asked.
“I can no longer put off your punishment, Theoden. I waited until you had your fun with our King and your sire. But now it is time for me to fulfill my duties as Elder Knight,” Tylendel said.
And just like that, my good day just turned to shit.
I sighed. “Now?”
“I can come to you, but I'd prefer if you came to me,” Ty said.
“Are you at home?”
“Yes.”
Damn it. Of course, he'd want me to come to him. His home was his playing field. Ty's toy room made my dungeon look like child's play. He had items there that you couldn't find in regular stores. Custom-made devices designed by and for dragons, and for a variety of uses. I told myself that I wouldn't regret what I'd done to Deacon, marking him as I did. And I was going to keep my word because doing so saved the lives of Ara's vampires. I'd do it again. But to say that I wasn't looking forward to my punishment was an understatement.
“Fine. I'm on my way,” I said.
“Drive, don't fly. You won't be in any shape to fly home after I'm done with you,” Ty said.
“Must you go to such extremes?”
“Slacking with you is how I earned myself a punishment from Hexon that I have to still go to. If you think I'm going to take it easy on you when our King is expecting you to suffer, you have another thing coming, my friend.”
Fuck. “Very well. If I'm going to be in such a state, will I even be able to drive?”
“Probably not. Better yet, Fly... the sooner we get this done, the better. I'll have someone take you home. Or... you can stay for a few days to recover.”
“Days?”
“To recover, yes, you'll need them.”
I had no idea what Tylendel was going to do to me, but I knew I wasn't going to like it. Needing days to recover was, to be honest, extremely unnerving. I've suffered punishments in the past from Ara and didn't need anything more than a few minutes and blood from a fresh kill to get back into shape. And here Tylendel was telling me I'd need days. I’ve never been punished as a dragon, let alone by Tylendel. I’d heard of his legendary punishments from others and even witnessed a few. None of them looked fun.
Shit.
“I'm on my way,” I said, then hung up. I turned off my computer as I'd been doing the accounting for taxes to be paid to Ara from the vampire Lords of his territory. I left the comfort of my home from the balcony and headed toward Tylendel mansion.

Love Always,
