This meme is so true for me for this series. I swear, this is how I looked when I wrote "The End" LOL.

Now on to the newsletter serial - King Adriel Meets The Kings of Two Kingdoms

Chapter 2 - Adriel

Vahiel gave a heavy sigh and it was something I came to recognize was a sign of begrudging capitulation. Rude, but I allowed it. He scratched at his temple and then looked at me. “I would recommend that we bring Either Raphael, Nasini, or Ade with us. Powerful Agotos who can suck in hundreds of souls if need be, my King.”

I cocked an eyebrow. “Why not Isabella?” I asked. I knew why he didn't suggest Brian or Andre, as both were babies by comparison and didn't have the strength of the others.

He smirked. “Because Nasini is very protective of Isabella and would not want her to go to a new world. Ade, is powerful enough to handle anything, Your Highness.”

Ahh, that is true. “I'll take Raphael, as he has already met—and fought Theoden.”

“Wise decison, my Liege. Next, I would suggest we bring Lord Silas. If these dragons can manipulate lust and pleasure, it would be tactical for us to bring one of our own demons who can do the same.”

I pursed my lips as I thought about it and nodded. “He is extremely powerful. Yes and one more.”

“Lord Dakkar, he is also a blood drinker, and stronger than Theoden was, my Liege.”

Vahiel listed off the perfect crew to take with me, especially if we were to encounter hostile forces. I nodded, then focused my powers to summon the three demons to me. One by one, they materialized before me in their own way, Raphael being last and he was sweaty, breathing hard, and wearing khakis and a pullover I could tell he'd hastily put on. I smirked. “Did I interrupt something, Raphael? You were last to arrive, making me wait a full five minutes.”

The blond beauty bowed his head. “My apologies, Your Highness. I came as soon as I could.”

“After you came, I'm sure.”

He blushed but kept quiet.

“I've summoned you three here because I plan to travel through the portal into Theoden's world. I wish to see the wonders there. I want to see how their society functions where the more powerful beings hold full control. I wish to see Theoden again, to feel his mouth on my cock and my cock in his ass. I also wish to meet his kings,” I said.

My demon Lords and Knight stood before me, each giving each other concerned glances, which annoyed me.

“Speak your thoughts,” I commanded.

“My King, is that wise?” Dakkar was the first to speak up. “We know nothing of their world and is it just the five of us going?”

I scoffed. “Four of my most powerful demons. Do you want me to feel as though I can't trust the four of you with my life?”

Immediate protest from them.

“No, my King. Of course not. I will tear down any threat to your life even at the expense of my own,” Dakkar said.

“My only concern is that if we do encounter a fight, and are outnumbered, we need to be able to leave before our forces are overtaken. We don't know what powers they have. It would be unwise for us to assume that we hold all of the cards, Your Highness,” Vahiel said.

I listened to their council and took everything into account. A wise king knew when to heed sage advice. I nodded. “Very well. I will give you time to create a spell or device needed for a hasty retreat. Fortify the portal, and weaponize it if need be. Once you have these measures in place, then we will leave. Do not make me wait long, Vahiel. I know that you are more than capable of crafting these things.”

Vahiel bowed. “I'll get right on it, my Liege.”

“Good. In the meantime, just know that you four will be coming with me. I think you'll enjoy this trip as well.” I looked at Vahiel. “And one more thing, make me your best bottle of Sakoya. It is customary to bring a gift when coming unannounced.”

“Yes, my Liege,” Vahiel said.

“And when we do leave, please dress for the occasion,” I said.

“Do you want us to wear our armor and bring weapons, my King?” Raphael asked.

I smiled as if an Agoto even needed weapons if they weren't fighting Lords. They were weapons, as all of my demons were, but Agotos were weapons of mass destruction and Raphael could kill hundreds in a matter of seconds. They were more worried than I was, but I was never going to ignore their concerns simply because I had every bit of confidence in my demons.

“No, Raphael. I don't want to come looking as if I'm declaring war. I simply mean to dress in your best. I want my Royal Court to look accordingly,” I said.

They nodded, finally understanding.

“Very well, when I next summon you, be prepared.”

They bowed their heads.

“You're dismissed,” I said.

Again, they bowed before teleporting. I sat there, thinking about my last encounter with Theoden. The vampire and dragon hybrid who was so taken by my demons. But he was powerful, a warrior whose fighting prowess was impressive. I wondered who we would meet upon our arrival. Would it be Theoden, or a dragon, werewolf, hybrid, or another vampire? It would be best if I didn't kill anyone. I would order my demons to subdue instead of kill until my hand is forced. Above all, I really wanted to me this King Kendrick and King Ara. Soon.
