Summer Break comes out next week! Pre-save it now πŸ”‰πŸŒŠβœ¨

We’re home from 6,400 miles on the road β€” and we’ve got new music to share.

"How ya doin'? How ya doin'? How ya doin'? How ya doin'? That's four "How ya doin'?"'s."

- Ben Ticknor

How ya doin' y'all?

We're back with round 2 of releasing new music this year - Summer Break is available for listening anywhere you get your music starting 9/30. Pre-save link here. It might have "summer" in the name but the fall vibes are strong on this one. πŸ‘ŒπŸ‚

πŸ‚ Pre-save Summer Break πŸ‚

Written on the back of an arduous touring season, Summer Break is a bittersweet love letter to two musicians and dear friends who hung up their touring caps after years on the road. Touching on the elements of the turning seasons and the pain of missing what once was, the last line of the chorus "I'm still loving you, are you still loving me" echoes the transformative nature of all relationships and how a change of roles doesn't always mean a change in the heart. - Crystal

It's been about a week since we got home from our longest tour of the year! Three and a half weeks altogether and roughly 6,400 miles! Oooof! "From Portland East to Portland West" as the song goes...

In reality though, it was a wonderful time. We have a great crew here. It was fantastic to return to some venues we've been to before - Riverdog in Ohio, Vangarde Arts and Alluvial Brewing in Iowa - and also to get to visit some new places! We sold out in Columbus, OH, believe it or not - and we'd never even been there before! That was a great night and a nice treat.

One of the real highlights for Lillian when we get to go on tour, is that she gets to go to Chili's. You might not know this, but there are no Chili's in Oregon! So, she's always very excited whenever we get to play somewhere with one close by. She and Crystal are also huge water dogs, so we were very grateful to our Riverdog hosts Terry and Deborah for taking us along to their friends' gathering where we got to have a good hang and a nice swim in Lake Erie. πŸ™

Big ups to buddy Jason Howard for sitting in on bass these last few weeks
