Hey all you good time people!

Have you ever been "There and Back Again" like Bilbo Baggins from The Hobbit? If you've been keeping up with our touring schedule you might've noticed how we've been doing a bit of "there and back again" ourselves between California and Oregon recently! Unfortunately, and maybe fortunately, we have yet to make it to the Lonely Mountain or meet any ill-tempered dragons. If you happen to know anyone who might be able to help us get a gig at that most epic dwarvish venue east of the Anduin River please let us know!

What a time we have been having so far this spring though! There have been some really fun shows in some very cool venues - Churchill School in Baker City, OR, Little Saint in Healdsburg, CA, and the Lindsay Lodge in Applegate, OR are a few that come to mind. In fact a long standing mystery was finally resolved this past weekend involving a monogrammed mandolin pick, the Lindsay Lodge, and an episode of Gordon Ramsey's Hotel Hell... Inquiring minds will want to know.

I also would like to shout out close friends of the band, The Strids, whose son Henry has been sitting in on banjo for the past week of shows with us. Henry is a fantastic picker and someone to definitely keep an eye on in the future. No plans currently to add full-time banjo into the mix but it's really nice to shake things up and have some special features now and again!

Recognize some familiar faces? Was great having the mighty Ben Ticknor back in the pile for some shows the past few weeks. He'll be on the road with us some more later this summer too, can't wait!

We're very excited about returning to Nimblefingers again this summer (for the 3rd time!) We love to teach and we think this is one of the best camps in North America doing the thing right now. Happy to know there are lots of Portland friends who will be attending this year as students as well! We'll also performing at our very own Columbia Gorge BG Festival for the first time! Very stoked to finally make it to this event that is so beloved by the local community and that is so close to home.

We're very excited to be getting closer to releasing new music for you this summer...
