2021 Doesn't hold the Magic I hoped for

I hope you are having a Great Spring Day. My March came in like a lamb weather wise but then, not so much....
I ended up NOT having a new release this month. AND luckily did not promote it too much as my spidey-senses went up when communicating with the publisher was starting to become difficult. Don't worry the story won't get scraped...just don't know when I will pull it back out.
I lost my mother after complications after a fall, I lost a classmate/friend with NO warning, my daughter lost her whole litter of kittens (and acquired a huge vet bill too), a friend lost her dear Uncle, and when you are saddened over things like these the day to day annoyances, such as spilling coffee, seem to be way bigger than they really are. But time heals as some of us know all too well but when you are sad and exhausted it is hard to keep that in mind.
BUT on a bright note, I finally qualify for the vaccine in my Neck-of the-Woods and will get that on the 24th.
I don't expect to go around and start hugging people yet....someday, again, but not yet. TIll then I will continue to enjoy the solitary life on the North Shore. Lake Superior gave up her last pieces of Ice late last week. And more native birds return every day, I am truly lucky to look at this every day.
This month I spoke with Cynthia Terelst and I must say I with her amazing accent I wanted to keep her talking longer. You can read it here....Though I know you aren't her target audience since I'm more dark and gritty, But I know I am not the only one that reads many different genres at once.

These next novels are center around Mystery but not the usual keep me up at night true crime stories. These are like Mystery light and I read all three back to back, a little bit of younger sleuth than usual too, and a little romance. I will admit I originally fell for the covers.
