Hannah & Nathaniel's Adoption Journey
Welcome to the craziness!
We're so excited that you are willing to support us as we embark on the incredible journey of adoption! This is an exciting, stressful, wonderful, daunting season, but it's one we both feel called to and ready for. Our only hope of making it through this with our sanity is the support of our amazing church and family communities, and we want to keep you up to date as we move through this process.
The Adoption Process:
We have chosen to partner with an organization called Lifeline Children's Services, which we first learned about through Northland! We really love their focus of sharing Gospel hope with birth parents through the adoption process. We are also pursuing an open adoption, which allows the opportunity for us to be connected with the birth parent or parents long-term. We are currently a family in waiting, which means we are waiting for and reviewing profiles of expectant mothers, and they are viewing ours! This is a season with many highs and lows, and we appreciate continued support and prayer not only for us as we navigate this process, but for the expectant mothers who will be reviewing our profile.

Fundraising:
Adoption is not an inexpensive process, and we will certainly need your support! While there are a number of payments due at different times, the total cost for this process will be around $32,000. We have the amazing opportunity to partner with an organization called LifeSong, who have offered us a tax-exempt fundraising account AND $7,000 in matching grants!
We only need around $6,000 more to have all of our fees covered, thanks in large part to all of your support. To anyone who came out to our fundraiser or has donated financially to support us over these past weeks and months, we cannot thank you enough. Our funding finish line is in sight!
