Hello!

We are are unbelievably excited to bring you not one, but two major milestones in our adoption journey!

As of this past week, we are officially a family in waiting, which means we are currently waiting for and reviewing profiles of expectant mothers, and they are able to view ours! It has been a long and challenging process to reach this point, so we are excited to have reached the first of two finish lines. We know that this is often a season with many highs and lows, and we appreciate continued support and prayer not only for us as we navigate this process, but also for the expectant mothers who will be reviewing our profile. On the fundraising front, we have applied for and have been accepted by an organization called Lifesong For Orphans. As a Lifesong family we have two huge benefits:

1. We are now able to fundraise via a tax-exempt fundrasing account
2. We have access to matching grants!

Lifesong was very generous to offer us a $3,000 matching grant, and First Baptist Orlando has offered us a $4,000 matching grant, for a total of $7,000 in matching grants! Our remaining fees that we need to cover total $21,500; this matching grant program will be a huge boost to help us get past our halfway point.
