Hello friends and family!

We're thrilled to share some exciting news about our adoption journey!

We have officially completed the home study process with our case worker. What a whirlwind! Not only did this include three in-person interviews, this was also a daunting amount of paperwork and appointments, but we feel blessed that this process went smoothly and relatively quickly. We are so grateful for your support and encouragement throughout this season.

We will now be moving to the next phase of our process, where we will be collaborating with our domestic specialist to create our profile books. These books will introduce us to expectant mothers considering adoption and help us find the perfect match for our family. We are unbelievably excited to begin these conversations and keep you all posted on our progress.

In the coming weeks, we will begin looking into some exciting fundraising opportunities! Now that we have completed our home study, we have access to various matching grants and tax-exempt programs that will help us collect funds to prepare for our placement fees. We are excited about several of these programs available to us, and we look forward to sharing more with you as we apply. Our next fee is $5,200, due when we submit our profile books.
