Hello,

Our adoption application process is in full swing, and while we are thrilled at the prospect of potentially wrapping up our home study process before the end of the year, it has been exhausting to keep up the pace needed to get everything done! As we move rapidly through this, here are some highlights and prayer requests:

Rooted In Love Conference

Hannah and I will be traveling to Birmingham, AL, October 23-25 for a conference with Lifeline Children's Services. This will be an opportunity to learn a lot about the adoption process and how best to love the birth parents and our future child. We will be hearing from several professionals as well as adoptees and birth mothers who have all been involved in the adoption process in various ways. Pray for energy and good connections to be made and for safe travels!

Due Dates

Because we are moving quickly through our home study, we have to complete some items on an accelerated timeline. Pray specifically that we can complete our individual biographies, as well as all the online education required prior to our conference dates. Also, pray for our stamina; no one likes filling out this much paperwork!

Fundraising

After looking at our fee schedule and talking to several people, we have decided to start a GoFundMe page to spread out our fundraising efforts and to try and build up some funds for the fees we need.
