In the seasonal cycle, your Ace (Week 1) was the flame: a flash of energy, an opportunity, an inner call saying “this is possible!”

Week 2’s 2 of Clubs reminds you that a spark without fuel flickers out. Now is the time to choose: Which idea do I want to pursue? What support do I need? Who do I trust to hold the dream with me?

🃏 Clubs in History — Summer’s Suit

Playing cards likely trace back to China and India, then traveled through Egypt and Europe — absorbing local symbolism along the way. By the time they settled into the familiar 52-card deck, the suits took on elemental and seasonal qualities that mirror the Tarot:

• Clubs: Correspond to Wands, the suit of fire, energy, willpower.
• Element: Fire — passion, vitality, growth.
• Season: Summer — the height of action, warmth, outward expression.
• Color: Black (ink) — balancing the red suits (Hearts & Diamonds) with grounding energy.

In older lore, the suits were mapped like this:

• Hearts = Spring (Water, love, beginnings)
• Clubs = Summer (Fire, work, expansion)
• Diamonds = Autumn (Earth, harvest, value)
• Spades = Winter (Air, challenges, wisdom)

So Clubs are fiery growth: warm weather, long days, outdoor plans, active conversations, and the energy to build.

They also connect to agriculture: the Club’s “cloverleaf” shape evokes fields, growth, sprouting.

✨ Little Historical Touch: The Clubs’ Symbol

Some say the Club symbol (♣️) comes from the French trèfle — clover — echoing luck, nature, and simple growth. Others link it to the cudgel or staff, a nod to the Wands. Either way, it’s green power: sprouting energy, work, and the promise of fruitful harvests if you nurture it well.

🌓 Why the Black Suits?

In some symbolic systems, the red suits (Hearts & Diamonds) represent outward life: love, joy, money, sensuality — the blood of life.
