This week, we visited some of the hospitality professionals we’d helped place through ClearShift.

Just a quick check-in, no agenda. And yet… their faces lit up.

They were genuinely happy to see us. One of them said, “It means a lot that you came. Nobody ever does.”

We also stopped by a few of the establishments we work with. Same thing. One owner said, “Thank you for remembering us.”

It reminded me:

This isn’t just a business. It’s a relationship.

A relationship with the people who trust you. The people you show up for — even when things are quiet. Especially then.

So we’ve kicked off a sprint

Things have been slow at ClearShift lately. Like really slow. And it’s easy to feel discouraged when momentum dips.

But instead of hiding, we decided to do something different.

We’re doing a 5-day ClearShift Sprint — one focused action per day to rebuild energy, visibility, and momentum.

And we’re sharing the whole thing publicly, over on Rework.

Why share it?

Because this is what business actually looks like.

Not just launches and wins — but plateaus, doubts, and small actions taken anyway.

This sprint isn’t magic. It’s simple.

• Reach out to people.
• Follow up.
• Create something useful.
• Visit someone in person.
• Talk about what you’re doing.

It’s designed to help us move again — and maybe help you too.

Try this in your own way

You don’t need a big plan or a fancy reset.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, flat, or disconnected from your business:

Just do a tiny sprint.

Give yourself 5 days. One task a day.

Tell people what you’re doing.

And see how it feels to show up anyway.
