Why not both?

Colin Powell died from "COVID complications," according to his family. He'd battled cancer for years, was in bad shape, and COVID got him even though he was "fully vaccinated."

At one point, Powell was admired throughout the nation and world. But then he got in bed with Bush & Cheney and started the bullshit second war with Iraq.

He lied about the "intel." There were no WMDs. His fate was sealed: A flawed, but probably (mostly) a good man.

But can we forgive a lapse in judgement that huge? I can't.
