I would be remiss if I didn't tell you that the Senate is about to confirm the first Black female to the US Supreme Court today.

That's a big win for humanity and justice.

In the short term, Ketanji Brown Jackson won't make a difference in terms of the vote count or the partisan makeup of the Court.

She will make a difference long-term.
