House Select Committee convenes today in DC

This could be...dynamite or a dud.
I don't know. The way things work in DC, I'm betting on a big fat DUD.
But let's see what happens. I hope America glues itself to the TV and watches the whole thing in its entirety, like the OJ Simpson trial.
I doubt, though, that Fox News, OAN, Breitbart, and Infowars will cover it...at all.
Oh, they'll talk about it, but they won't cover the actual hearings.
Moving on...

Remember this name: Mercola. He may turn out to be the biggest villain in our fight to beat COVID.
Why and how? Read this to find out. But, long story short, he tells tales of how the vaccines aren't safe. In fact, he claims, they are harmful.
Worse, according to Mercola, the mRNA vaccines change your DNA and mess you all up. I'm paraphrasing, of course. He's a doctor, so he says what I just said in a convoluted way.
His followers eat it up and spread the fear-mongering across the globe (or plate, more likely, if you follow him).
SAN FRANCISCO — The article that appeared online on Feb. 9 began with a seemingly innocuous question about the legal definition of vaccines. Then over its next 3,400 words, it declared coronavirus vaccines were “a medical fraud” and said the injections did not prevent infections, provide immunity or stop transmission of the disease.
Instead, the article claimed, the shots “alter your genetic coding, turning you into a viral protein factory that has no off-switch.”
Its assertions were easily disprovable. No matter. Over the next few hours, the article was translated from English into Spanish and Polish. It appeared on dozens of blogs and was picked up by anti-vaccination activists, who repeated the false claims online. The article also made its way to Facebook, where it reached 400,000 people.
He's dangerous not just because of what he says, but who he reaches: The most vulnerable COVIDiots.
NOTE: I'm sure Mercola also shares GOOD information. So just because you like some of his stuff doesn't make you an idiot.
You're an idiot if you believe his BS about the vaccines.

PS - Simon Biles is out of the Olympics. Now there's really no reason at all to watch the Summer Olympics.
PPS - There is a reason, however, to support the Morning Sixpack & The Daily Grind - do that here.
Oh, the reason? To keep the lights on. DUH!
