ποΈ βJoy and prideβ: Black women celebrate Ketanji Brown Jackson joining Supreme Court
Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson became the first Black woman to join the Supreme Court.
Many Black women celebrated the historic moment.
Bill: MORE good news! It won't change anything on the SCOTUS in terms of outcomes, but I am hoping she has some sway soon. EXPAND the Court. And change its name.
ποΈ Rubin: Vladimir Putin is the unabashed lord of war crimes in the 21st century
Russian President Vladimir Putin is pursuing a deliberate strategy of laying waste to cities, towns, and villages using long-range artillery, bombs, and rockets, since his troops are unable to defeat Ukrainian forces in close battle.
When a 2,000-pound Russian missile slammed into a crowded shopping mall in the central Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk on Monday β killing at least 18 people buying bathing suits or blenders β that was par for the course for Russia.
Only the day before, Sunday, a barrage of Russian missiles pounded a quiet civilian neighborhood in the center of Kyiv, smashing a high-rise apartment building....

(CNN)The two-time US Olympic basketball gold medalist Brittney Griner arrived at a court near Moscow on Friday where her trial is expected to start, after officials claimed she had cannabis oil in her luggage in February, a week before Russia invaded Ukraine.
Griner, 31, a Phoenix Mercury player who plays in Russia during the WNBA's offseason, was arrested February 17 at a Moscow airport.
Russian authorities accused her of smuggling significant amounts of a narcotic substance, an offense punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

ποΈ Cheney presses primary foe on false election claim
The Capitol insurrection dominated Thursday's debate in Wyoming as Congresswoman Liz Cheney faced her four Republican primary challengers.
Cheney pressed her Trump-backed opponent on whether she agreed with Trump's 2020 election fraud claims.
Bill: I don't like Liz Cheney. But she's doing good work and I commend her for it. Without her, I think this Jan 6 Select Committee would have gone nowhere.
We all forget she's Dick Cheney's daughter. She's no pushover. I mean, that dude bided his time for over ten years to take down Iraq and Hussein.
