Russia attacked Ukraine. This is the beginning of a very bad thing. Time will tell how the world reacts to this. I suspect Putin will get what he wants: Another piece of the former-USSR back in his possession.

Is this the beginning of World War III or is it worse?

Seriously, my gut tells me Putin will get what he wants while experiencing a little heartburn. He can suffer through sanctions for a few years.

His plan, I suspect, is to get #TFG elected again and then he can go back to what those two do best: Launder money.

Until then, buckle up. Don't plan on buying anything big and get used to pork 'n beans.
