Russia invades Ukraine, suffers economics sanctions from the West, Ukraine to begin a military draft. Shit just got real.

I don't think Putin is as smart as everybody thinks, EXCEPT for this: He's already invaded Ukraine. He invaded more yesterday. Last time (Crimea), not a lot happened. The world moved on and we all kinda forgot about it.

Until now. Russia moved in as "peace keepers" (LOL, yeah, right) to assist the goons already IN Ukraine who have essentially taken over large swaths of land.

IF nothing happens to Russia this time around, Putin will just wait a bit, and invade more when he wants to.

It's like those frogs in cold water that you bring to a boil: They just won't notice it's getting any hotter.

BUT IF the West makes true on their economic retribution (i.e., sanctions), then he will be in a world of hurt, especially if they go after him personally.

FREEZE any assets he has outside of Russia. Go for the jugular.

Which, of course, could start a world war.

Which makes us all stupid.

IOW, I don't know the solution except to hit him with tiny sanctions and keep piling them on until he gives up.

Dunno.
