Cheating on taxes costs the US $1 Trillion…per year

Crazy, right?

There is a whole industry set up to help billionaires and upwardly mobile millionaires cheat on their taxes.

We pay for it, of course.

But the big financial firms and accounting firms like Goldman Sachs just love getting paid to help the wealthy avoid taxes, which is their job, by the way.

That it's so easy is frustrating AF. It doesn't help that the IRS staff (i.e., auditors) has been reduced by 17,000 in the last decade.

The rise of cryptocurrencies has muddied the waters further, as it's very lightly regulated and who the hell knows if those profits are being reported.
