When an NFT of fucking pictures that some dude drew on his computer sells for $69 million and Bitcoin (a supposedly good store of value that cannot be hacked and is untraceable) is hovering around $60k, we have to re-think what money actually is.

Some YouTuber sells out of “non fungible tokens” in minutes, creating out of thin air “value” of millions for some digitally-signed bullshit…you've got to be fucking kidding me.

It feels like “Tulip Mania” all over again. Not that I was there. That happened in the 1600s in the Dutch Republic.
