Tidbits
Dec 22, 2021 2:01 am
I like little sound bites from the news. Except they aren't sound bites when you write them down.
Nope, they're morsels. Or tidbits. So that's what I'm calling this. They're just very short factoids that come to mind...
Will Tid Bits be a regular thing at My Daily Grind News? I don't know. YOU get to decide.
Tell me what you think. Hit reply.
Here are today's Bits:
- The first day of winter is today. It's the shortest day of the year, which says a lot up here in the PNW where it gets dark at 3pm (if the sun ever comes out).
- A major inflation report will drop on Thursday—the personal consumption expenditures price index, which is the Fed’s preferred report for measuring inflation. Look for signals Powell will raise interest rates soon.
- The Staples Center will be renamed Crypto.com Arena on Christmas. The blockchain is here to stay. Or, is it just Webvan all over again?
- A 6.2 magnitude earthquake hit Northern California yesterday. It was the biggest felt there in about a decade.
That's it for now. Have a fantastic day!
Bill
