The Power of a Network

Welcome to another installment of my (almost) weekly email! I got to experience my first (and hopefully last!) hurricane last week while at the annual Murphy Business Education Conference in Florida. I always enjoy the conference because it reinvigorates me for another year. The conference also is a great learning experience because veteran brokers give workshops on best practices and experience-backed education. It's a lovely time even if the power goes out because of Tropical Storm Nicole.

The other major benefit of the conference is seeing the other 240-ish brokers and making connections. Being part of a huge multi-national network means having resources I couldn't dream of as a sole practitioner. Literally every day a new business listing is added to our database. I'm going to highlight just a couple Midwest businesses that have gone live in the course of a week.

  • Jewelry :: Minnesota:: $ 790,000
  • Contractor :: Montana :: $1,399,000
  • Retail Food :: S. Dakota :: $1,700,000
  • Pizza Shop :: S. Dakota :: $ 249,000
  • Florist :: Wisconsin :: $ 800,000
  • Auto Repair :: Wyoming :: $2,200,000

And this was just one week!!! Our business is connecting buyers and sellers. One way we accomplish this is by leveraging other brokers in our firm. If you have a business you'd like to sell or are looking to take the plunge and buy a business just us know. We've got eyes and ears all over North America ready to work for you.

As always, I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Happy Friday,

Josh
