Life Notes Newsletter: Accept slip-ups as part of the journey.

Hey,
Welcome to the Life Notes Newsletter - a newsletter filled with actionable notes on life.
Here's...
✨ A reminder for your day:
Slipping up isn’t an indication of failure.
“One of the best predictors of successfully quitting smoking is the number of times a person has tried and failed in the past.
You want to steer clear of the ‘abstinence violation effect’—the attitude that if you’ve slipped once, you might as well give up completely.”
Slipping up is part of the journey.
📱 An app I’m Loving:
- Opal has been so helpful for blocking social media apps (I’ve searched for something similar for a while). It stops apps from loading completely - no more deleting and re-downloading apps. AppBlock is an alternative.
📖 Books I’m Reading
- Change Your Questions, Change Your Life - I’m listening to this on the Libby app for free
- The Inner Game of Tennis - A book about radical self acceptance disguised as a mental guide to tennis
📝 Something to journal on…
- What kind of person do I want to be?
- What are the most enjoyable things I could do to become that person?
Appreciate you,
Michelle
Psst - Have you...
