Creating a Stronger "Why"
Aug 09, 2020 4:01 am
Hey,
Here's...
Something to think on in your week:
- Is your "why" for the habits that you're trying to create 'close' enough?
A quote to support your thinking:
- "People are more likely to sustain behaviours that are essential to their daily lives in immediate and noticeable ways." - Michelle Segar, PhD
Action steps to consider:
- Consider a closer why that's immediate and noticeable. For example:
Exercise: A why relating to mood improvement vs disease prevention
Nutrition: A why relating to feeling clearheaded and energised vs maintaining your body weight
Drinking Water: A why relating to feeling less anxious / more at ease vs having better skin in 20 years
Appreciate you,
