Assalamualaikum (Peace Be Upon You),
Hope you’re having a great day!
Welcome to the 2nd issue of The MSA Times, A weekly newsletter where we update you, our lovely members on key events and updates happening at MSA as well as give you a Simple Sunnah (traditions and practices of the Prophet PBUH) that takes 2 minutes or less to fulfill and have immense rewards. We will also be sharing with you some Muslim news from around the world that we think you might find of value. Included will be the prayer times for the week so that we can all pray Jama‘ah for the times that we are on campus InshaAllah. Thank you to everyone for attending our first GBM and we hope to see more of you guys at our next on InshaAllah!
Simple Sunnah
Begin your day with this short yet beneficial duaa
“Alhamdu Lillahil-Lathee Ahyana BaAAda Ma Amatana Wa-Ilayhin-Nushoor.”
English translation: All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the resurrection.
Your entire day can start off with so much barakah if the first thing you do is praise Allah (S.W.T). The Sunnah way to do this is by saying this duaa. It’s a really short one, you can easily learn it!
