Assalamualaikum (Peace Be Upon You),
Hope you’re having a great morning!
Welcome to the 3rd issue of The MSA Times, a weekly newsletter where we update you, our lovely members, on key events and updates happening at MSA as well as giving you a Simple Sunnah (traditions and practices of the Prophet PBUH) that take 2 minutes or less to fulfill and gain immense rewards. We will also be sharing with you some Muslim news from around the world that we think you might find of value. Included will be the prayer times for the week so that we can all pray Jama‘ah for the times that we are on campus InshaAllah.
Simple Sunnah
Sit down when drinking water
It was narrated from Anas (R.A.): “The Prophet (S.A.W) prohibited that a man should drink while standing.” (Qatadah said) So it was said: “And eating?” He (Anas) said: “That is worse.” [Tirmidhi]

Muslim News from Around the World
India Day Parade features yellow bulldozer, decorated with photos of India's prime minister and hard-line protégé. To some bystanders, the construction equipment is no more than an oddity. Others defended it as a symbol of support for India's prime minister.
