Dear praying friends,

We had a great visit in Watertown, SD last weekend! One of the joys of being on home assignment is the opportunity to reconnect with people who have been praying for you for years (and years). Watertown is special for a variety of reasons - but one of my favorite things about going to Watertown is that people ask questions based on what they have been reading in these prayer updates. I know that they are praying for us, and there is no greater support than that!

We are down to the last 5 churches on our speaking schedule. We will be in Aitkin, MN this Sunday, take a few days off around Elissa's birthday (on May 14th), head to Pre-Council, serve on Council Committees, and then be at the Alliance's Council gathering in Columbus. Then we will be at Northfield on June 1. We will be in Vermillion, SD June 5-8, at Rose Hill Alliance on June 22, and then speak at Pointway on June 29th before heading to the LIFE conference July 3-9th.

After that, we will start packing things up, have some vacation time, spend time with family, continue to stay engaged with our Envision team in Berlin, and start to prepare for heading back.

I'll be honest, though - after 29 church visits so far, we are really feeling it! Can you pray for us as we finish up?

Please also pray for our team in Berlin! We had a new resident arrive on Monday - yay! We have a short term team arriving next week - yay! Our resident, Josh, is leaving at the end of the month, after spending 2 years serving with us - not yay. These transitions can be difficult times, for a variety of reasons, including what often feels like increased spiritual challenges for everyone involved. Please keep our team in your prayers!

1. Johannah is getting settled in Nashville! Pray for her as she starts her new job.
2. We are trying to get our kids together again before we fly back to Berlin. Please pray that the dates all work out (and that the ticket prices stay low as our boys reserve vacation dates!)
