Hi praying friends,

We are enjoying being in Florida with Elissa's mom and dad. In Florida, people are complaining about having some of the coldest weather they have experienced in recent history - and we keep thinking, "It's warmer than Minnesota!"

Thanks for praying for me/us as I am working on the messages for Crown College in February. It is always interesting when you go back to finish a message you had started previously. I tend to write best when I have time to finish a message from start to finish, but because of travel, Envision Berlin responsibilities, and a few other projects we are working on - I seldom have the time to finish a message. When I go back to it, I am often surprised (sometimes pleasantly, but often not!) at what I had written before - and it is hard to get back into whatever flow I had going previously to finish the message without major rewrites.

That is not all bad - it means I have the opportunity to edit and refine, but I am finding it hard to really finish the messages. Please keep praying for me as we get closer to the Global Impact Fest.

Some other prayer requests:

1. Please pray for the rest of our week in Florida and for safe travel on Sunday as we return to Minnesota.
2. Pray for our upcoming speaking opportunities. We will be at Eagen Hills on January 26 and then will travel to Detroit Lakes for their missions conference February 1-6.
3. I am having a sleep study on January 30th. For years, Elissa has commented that I occasionally breathe oddly when I sleep. I mentioned it to my doctor, and he suggested I have a sleep study done.
4. Josh is in Northern Germany for another school block of his apprenticeship and Caleb is preparing for final exams. Can you please pray for them?
