A New Year - limping or launching into 2025?

Hi Praying Friends!
We had such a wonderful family Christmas - all 5 of us were together! In this crazy life we live, that is rarely the case. We also got to celebrate with my extended family, the first time we have been able to do that since Christmas of 2017! That was so good!
After our large family celebration on the 28th, we brought our boys to the airport on the 29th. We won‘t see our boys again until September, when we return. That, dear prayer warriors, was so, so hard! Lots of tears were shed.
Here is another testimony to the power of your prayers. Our boys were delayed for several hours in the Minneapolis airport, but were seamlessly rebooked to flights from Amsterdam to Berlin. They boarded the plane in Amsterdam, and then a luggage car drove into the plan and poked a hole in the fuselage. They had to deplane, wait, and replane - but still arrived safely with all luggage intact.
Now we have launched into a New Year! After the last 4 months of intense travel and visiting churches, we sometimes wonder if we are launching into the New Year or limping into the New Year. Whether we are launching or limping, we want to start the year with an ever-increasing dependency on the Holy Spirit and the ongoing work He is doing in our life. We are never done growing!
Can you pray for us in the next couple of months as we start speaking in churches and also have some time to slow down a little. We would like to have some restored margin! Please also pray for us as we enter into a long stretch away from our kids and our ministry in Berlin.
This Sunday we are sharing at Grace Church in Forest Lake. If you are in the area, we would love to see you!
Blessings as you start the New Year. Any goals or „resolutions“?
Blessings,
mike
