Dear praying friends,

Thank you so much for your prayer support over the last couple of months as we transitioned from Berlin to live in the US for the coming year on our Home Ministry Assignment. We flew on Sunday and arrived with all of our luggage - spent the night at my sisters, and the next day, moved into the basement apartment we will live in for the next four months.

We are in the process of getting settled. It always takes a little while!

September 15-20th we will be at an Envision conference at Beulah Beach, Ohio - and after that we will start visiting churches!

Our first stop will be in Omaha (NE), then Coon Rapids (MN), and then Staples (MN). Then District Conference and a trip to PA and NY. If you would like to connect in any of those places - please send me a note!!

Here are some ways you can pray for us in the coming week:

1. Health! Jet lag is always a challenge, and when IW's come back for a year of home assignment, the pressure of moving adds to that tiredness. Pray that we stay healthy. Elissa was pretty wiped out yesterday, but our sleep schedule is returning to normal.
2. Pray for our boys! It was hard to leave them in Berlin.
3. Pray for us as we continue to manage some of the responsibilities of Envision Berlin. We love our site and our teammates, and want to lighten their load as much as possible while we are here. There is just too much for one couple to handle!
4. Pray for us as we begin to prepare for our season of sharing in churches.
