God - What should we say?

Hi Praying friends,

What a whirlwind 10 days! As you know from last week, we flew to Cleveland and spent time at Beulah Beach with our Envision family. It was amazing to hear what God is doing at Envision sights worldwide! If you know someone who is curious about serving overseas or wants to be developed to serve - send them to weareenvision.com! Envision has sites in the US and around the world, and I am so impressed by the way each site lives out their call to discover and develop the next generation of missional leader in unique and different ways.

We came back to Minneapolis on September 20th and then drove to Omaha, NE the next day. It was great to spend time with some amazing people at Citylight church. They have sent teams to serve with us and friends of ours in Berlin - and it was great to reconnect, worship with them, see ministry in their context, and dream about future ministry connections. We drove back yesterday - and have some catching up in other areas to do for the rest of this week!

We are speaking at Word of Life church on Sunday. October 3-6 we will be at Staples Alliance Church (our sending church!!). We are looking forward to having the opportunity to share - and also find ourselves asking, "God, what should we say?" Could you please pray for us as we listen to God and begin to put things on paper and in presentations?

Please also pray for:

  1. Health! Several people at the Envision conference have gotten sick (part of what happens when you bring people together from all over the world!). So far, we are not sick, but the travelling takes its toll. Please pray especially for Elissa's back - all of the sitting in cars and plane seats are challenging!
  2. Caleb is back from his time in Austria with his band. Thanks for praying! Pray for him as he gets ready to start the new school semester.
  3. Pray for our teammates, Stephen and Jennie. They flew to Berlin yesterday after the conference and some family visits. Pray as they get over jet lag and get ready to welcome a new intern and a short term team.

Thanks for your prayers!
