Hi Praying Friends!

Tomorrow our daughter Johannah boards an airplane to fly to Berlin for 12 days - our family of 5 will be all in one place again! Yay!

We will be spending a few days together up on the Baltic Sea, and then enjoying some time together in Berlin.

We just finished up with another short-term team. This time, we had a couple of artists on the team - and one of them left saying, "I'm leaving behind my isolation." It was great for us to be able to help him see that he is not alone in his approach to ministry, his desire to reach artists, and his willingness to use some out-of-the box ways to do that. The team left behind a beautiful mural in our space - something we will enjoy for years!

We also were able to hold a concert while they were here. One of our interns, Zach Osbrink, was able to play some songs he had written. It was awesome to have people from the community stop. Once again, we had people saying, "I had no idea you guys existed. Tell me more about what you are doing here!" As we tell people that we are looking for the meeting place between art, faith, and culture - it never fails to spark more conversation. In one case, a guy spent most of the concert on the phone calling his friends to tell him what he was experiencing!

Keep praying for these great connecting experiences. Tomorrow night we are closing our current exhibit with an Artist Talk, once again hoping to connect with previous guests to our events AND new people in the community.

Some other prayer requests:

1. Pray for a safe flight for Johannah!
2. Caleb has finals coming up, please pray for him as he studies.
3. Several members of our team are taking some vacation days in between visiting short-term teams. Pray for us as we travel and rest.
4. School just got out for many of our teammates children. Pray for them as they start summer break!
