Google has released a very important update for their popular Chrome browser. The update patches a zero-day vulnerability in Chrome web browser for desktop that is being actively exploited in the wild.

In plain English, older versions of Google Chrome have been found to have a security flaw. Bad actors are actively using the flaw to infect computers and gather user information from the browser itself.

Users of Chrome for Windows, Mac, and Linux should update immediately.

To update Google Chrome:

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click More, or the three vertical dots at the top right.
3. Click Update Google Chrome. Important: If you can't find this button, you're already on the latest version.
4. Click Relaunch.
